More on T6 Poker
My announcement yesterday brought comments that need to be resolved. Concerns for the good of internet poker are important, but the facts are important also, and I want to clear up a few things.
I know that Torben Hubertz is behind T6 Poker. When I search, I get the name of the owner of the site so your information is not correct, you can find the same information I did and it’s public record:
http://who.godaddy.com/WhoIs.aspx?domain=t6poker.com&prog_id=godaddy
I have seen this claim before but this is untrue, the owner of T6 Poker is not hidden. There is an attack on this person by some people in the poker industry. It’s pretty normal and you can find people bashing and poker site shredding in every forum on the internet. I have not had one person say that he or she was scammed by T6 Poker.
I am not involved in T6 Poker – other than being part of the Pro Team. I don’t own any part of the site. When I signed a deal with them it was a professional deal to play for the site for 1 year and I will evaluate everything with time.
From my point of view, I want new sites in the poker market and T6 Poker is currently the biggest spender there is so they are spending money; they really want T6 Poker to be a real site and not any kind of scam.
T6 Poker just redesigned their software and launched the new poker program on January 1st. The comment about their security and safety for players should be addressed by going to this link and reading about the actual security involved.
I am not a scammer. I believe in new enterprise and the poker market. I will be playing at T6 Poker. I want you to join me there. My bike’s parked outside, if you need a ride, just let me know.
P.S. The linked comment in the previous post goes to Wikia.com. Wikia.com is an ad based site, collecting revenue, and the opinions stated there may not be completely unbiased. The main user/creator of poker.wikia.com is PhillipR. The following is his statement of introduction about poker.wikia.com:
“Hi. I’m part of a team of a few volunteers from 2+2 who are driving this project because we think this has the potential to be a really great resource. That doesn’t mean this is a dictatorship, or even an oligarchy. Consensus and cooperation are essential to Wiki culture and this community should be no different.”
The statement has merit, but as with all things you read, arm yourself with actual knowledge and keep an open mind.

Why this is regarded as a scam in Scandinavian poker forums is probably because of their marketing approach earlier on. T6 Poker uses Multi-Level Marketing as a way of getting investments. In Scandinavia and Germany a lot of people got their business prospectus that had some extraordinary claims, for example that they had a marketing budget of €15 Millions (larger, they said, than Coca-Cola in Scandinavia for the period) and there would be TV- and radio-ads "at the end of the year". That has not been seen yet, apart from some ads in poker magazines. Moreover, according to the business prospectus, 250 000 players from other poker sites would be brought over to T6 from January first. No info yet from what sites that would be. Also, when they launched their poker client in December for the freerolls there where a lot of problems, which seemed strange that a company with such a huge marketing budget (supposedly) would have such a poor poker client.
Appart from this, the company behind T6poker - 1ozgroup ( http://www.1ozgroup.com/ ) - was before december 1st named "Aston Price". Alston Price is listed on a warning list at The Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority, Finansinspektionen, saying that people should avoid this company.
this is some about how their "matrix"-system works: http://www.teamt6.com/product_matrixbonus.php
Well, fair enough, Tony. We’ll just have to wait and see if this is a serious site or not. Now you know something about the rumours.

Surely Wikia.com might be somewhat biased in thier opinion, but what’s more important is that you can’t say that yours is either.

Dear Tony, the money which has built T6poker comes from a wellknown scam called Alstonprice, also \”owned\” by Torben Hubertz, if you had spent 10 minutes to investigate in the history of AP, you should have known that.
Like you said, T6poker are spending money, but they are spending money from people who belived in Alstonprice.
Well the site is registred on Torben Huberts, but the company seems to be registred on somebody else :

Its a pity you havent either done your research, or developed some morals.
Amongst the people saying that this venture is almost 100% certain to be a scam are some of swedens top players, and top poker writers.
This site has an amazing number of warning signs:
Its top leadership have been proven (and admitted to) having run companies that have been scamming before. They’re on at least 2 seperate nations warning lists of unserious companies to avoid.
They originally supplied their (amazingly bad) software from rapidshare, a known and unreliable site mostly serving free pornography. Not professional in the slightest.
Freerolls have been continuesly removed, shifted or non-paying, after promises to the contrary.
People who played up a good amount of dollars, suddenly found everything gone on 01/01/2008. Strange.
Please respond to this, or stop sullying your already bad name even further. Oh, btw, dont use your own website to post an "unbiased" interview with the first scammer. It makes you look even more of a scapegoat.
January 2nd, 2008 at 10:28 am
Dear Tony, thanks for todays blog. It make some questions clear. But I think you still have to say something of Torbens earlier scam companies. He is right now doing the exactly same thing with T6 which he has done with the earlier companies. He shouts, promises gold to everyone, make the small people invest in his company…….and then disappears (probably). Why doesnt he use the big investors? Why using Rapidshare to download the client?
wish u good luck

Everyone uses SSL - if a site didn’t, I’d be worried. I hadn’t heard of any problems with T6 - infact, I can’t see anything on 2 + 2 if I search for it.
What’re the problems meant to be?
What is it that T6 do with security that other sites don’t?
January 2nd, 2008 at 12:41 pm
We havent seen you playing at T6 yet, but assume you will playing NL20 and below? T6poker was talking about 150 000 active players, there is currently 1 player sitting without any opponents, LOL. 1 of 150 000, LOOL
TonyG, you are an ugly hustler.
January 2nd, 2008 at 5:47 pm
I made the princely sum of 120 euro on the freerolls. I download the new software and check my account, nix. I sent an email to t6 support and they say the money will be placed in my account this week. Just checked, I have 26 euro, go to the withraw section, the only option for withrawl is bank transfer minimum withdrawl 100 minus 50euro ‘transaction fee’.
January 3rd, 2008 at 12:31 am
Now, this is complete crap tony g.
I always held you as my favourite poker player, but your involvement with these criminals is really hazardous business.
My love for you is under trial. But probably you dont need it anyways.
January 3rd, 2008 at 5:36 am
Well Tony, Its nice that you show everyone your real face… the face of a moneyhungry fool. Why dont you contact the T6 livesupport and try to cash out some money… by doing that simple thing, you will see that this site is a big joke!
Well Tony, you have choosen to work with this scampeople.
And at the same time destroyed your own reputation.
Well done.

There is a very controversial discussion about T6:
http://www.pokerzentrale.de/forum_posts.asp?TID=3768
I personally think it’s a scam but thats my opinion
January 3rd, 2008 at 6:34 am
You are all full of crap. T6Poker is serious business and you that claim that you have not been paid is full of bullshit.
FREEROLL MONEY
If you won some money on freerolls in DEC i am sure youy win TO MUCH like everyone else….due to the fact the shitty software (yes it was shit, we all saw that and T6 bought new) paid all that played the freeroll, even a 200 Euro freeroll paid out like 1 Euro to players that was beaten out on 350 place. All people that joined got paid without playing no matter where they ended up on the resultlist.
RAPIDSHARE
I have heard someone else said this. Strange that i have never seen it, not even when someone called me and said take a look. When i tried it came as normal. Something strange happend for some hours with the shitty software from Pokerdream. So what? We have now our servers in Ireland and we have safety and power like any other TOP pokersite.
PLAYERS
All the players will come - just wait and see - you looosers can just do that — wait and SEE
WARNINGS
Warings against AP is bullshit and based on groumpy people that have little success in life and little knowledge in the company history.
The FACT is that ALL members in ALSTON PRICE and 1OZGROUP are pleased and happy with what has happend - all people that joined the business earned MONEY and ALL people got their money OUT.
YOU will SEE a LOT of advertisment on T6 - just stay tuned ass holes.
I hate loosers like you - who do NOTHING else that look for errors in other people and go scared shit less if you see that others are about to get success!
January 3rd, 2008 at 6:07 pm
LOL… Its so funny to see people defending T6-poker, because they always get mad and crazy.
I have followed T6-poker from the start, and everything, I really mean EVERYTHING, has been a job of total amateurs.
T6-poker will NEVER become one of the 4-5 biggest pokersites in the world! Have you ever tried to contact the livesupport? If not, do that. They have NO IDEA what they are talking about.
I will be surprised if T6-poker lives mor than 6 months.

I’m a bit curious how TonyG thought when he got involved in this. Was it good money? Didn’t you do any background check, a few minutes of googling would and you would have seen how controversial T6 is viewed upon.
This columnist in one of Swedens largest daily papers got death threats for this column, "Warning for T6 Poker"
http://www.expressen.se/poker/1.958989/varning-for-t6poker
LW, you are writing "Warings against AP is bullshit and based on groumpy people that have little success in life and little knowledge in the company history." You might need to tell this to Swedish Authorities instead, The warning IS still there:

The investors in Alston Price got their shares in AP changed into shares in T6 recently.
People have not been able to cash out any money from the site yet, T6support says that will be possible soon. We’ll see about that.
January 4th, 2008 at 7:33 pm

Good Job TonyG
I really don´t understand all the fuzz about T6.
I have been playng since day1 (1:st of January) and it rocks!
It is a really smooth client, good tournaments and far from expensive playing there - so come on all you guys, try it out instead of being so narrowminded.
I agree with Tony here. It is a new site and they are working hard, spending money, in order to make it as good as possible.
To me it is definetely a site worth playing on and, who knows, we might meet there in the future…
January 6th, 2008 at 11:25 am
T6poker is the most obvious scam I’ve seen in a while and everyone involved must be either plain stupid or just malicious.
I can’t believe how poker players voluntarily and deliberately smudge their good names in connection with this brand, but maybe they’re not playing with a full deck so to speak… It’s all a big mystery to me.
It’s definitely not good for the online poker industry anyway. We do not need any more big scandals.
January 6th, 2008 at 1:40 pm
Oops…posted in wrong thread originally
I suggest you take a look at http://www.ukpokerlife.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2825&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight= that I have been using to report my experiences with this website so far.
And damn well they had to rebuild their software because their first software was a complete and utter joke. I saw someone get knocked out of a tourney and then 10 minutes later I got moved to the table that the same person was playing on with pretty much the same stack as to what he had before the pot that knocked him out. In that particular tournament it must have happened twice since the tournament finished when there was 3 players left, screwing 2 people out of the money (2500 Freeroll). The cashier was also just giving most people errors when they tried to load it.
The support is what amazes me most about this website though, other than being able to log directly into peoples accounts (this may be changed with new software but I doubt it) and giving out account balances asking for no proof whatsoever that you are actually the account holder, is that they don’t have a single clue about what they are talking about. I could go on but just read the thread I have been posting on. It really is rather boggling.
January 6th, 2008 at 7:07 pm
I cant believe I am reading all of this bullshit. Don’t you have anything better to do than writing all this kind of bullshit??? Why is it that you donkeys cant understand that sometimes in life you invest time and money in something - and does NOT always equals success. That is why I love poker. You can loose money, but if you are a gentleman, you take your beats with pride and move on. Come on.. get over it. Or do you intend to spend the rest of your lives in forums getting accepted from others due to your small dicks?? That must be the case…. well.. all I can say is that I have deposited and withdrawn money already.. and it works.. so freerollers.. try to do the same and stop trying to suck dick all the way through your life… The world has changed!!!! Adjust a bit… please.. and spare us from all these stupid comments… This Is my one and only comment on this site.. And I guess that all negative responses is from people that feel offended and categorized as they are in my diagnose…
January 7th, 2008 at 11:29 am
Is that you LW?
January 7th, 2008 at 12:54 pm
Interesting post OMG…
Perhaps when the rest of the money that is due to my account actually shows up I might be more interested in depositing to withdraw…
As it stands there is 350 euros that is not in my account and I have been told it will only be credited if I deposit…
Try reading the thread I posted… Support even goes so far as to say that they are not licensed to offer internet gambling…

A scam is a scam is a scam. It’s not as simple as "sometimes you win and sometimes you lose", this is not okey at all and that’s why it’s illegal. Well, it would be illegal anywhere but in a third world country like Costa Rica that is.
But thank you for your one and only comment, now go play on the freeway or cry about your lost AP-money or whatever you like to do in your spare time.

It is not about defending T6. There are no one crying about any lost money from AP. Nobody lost anything.
The new client on T6 is great to play on. Try it.
T6 has absolute a great potential and they are doing their best to become a great site.
I play every day and i can see it is growing and growing.

Hi our forum has been going on about t6 being a scam for about 6 weeks now …i lost 25% of my freeroll stack when i moved to the new client(without so much as an auto update or e-mail to tell me to uninstall and re install the new software)i talked to support who after leaving me for 15 mins then cut me off dead(michelle rodriguez grrrr)
eventually i got on to support again who explained that the 25% deficit i have to "work off" to get into my withdrawable account,,ok..
that night i played a eur750 gtd re-buy and got 2nd i re bought once so i wagered 20 euros or it may have been 30 not sure not one cent was released ?i got my winnings in my account but have not tried to withdraw yet!!!!!!!
on a lighter side a forum member of www.forums.ukgamblingforums.co.uk (masida)deposited into T6 and has withdrawn into his neteller account…woohoo i hear you say …it all looks ok from here so i think we should give it time to settle and we will see….i have about 630 euros in my account so i am going to deposit 20 euros and withdraw 550 …i will let you know how it goes ok

Is Alston Price really a scam? my brother is in it and he has making a lot of money from it, whithout working. How does it come that you dont have to work to get paid is a scam?
And for T6 poker, I think it´s easy to play and I dont care about all the rumors that it´s a scam.

http://www.aftenbladet.no/innenriks/okonomi/article595605.ece
Here is an article on the people behind T6poker.com from a Norwegian newspaper.
It’s states many nasty facts about Torben and his crew.
February 21st, 2008 at 3:12 pm
This is a translation from the norwegian paper Aftenbladet.no:
The common denominator behind several of the last few year’s pyramids is that they derive from the same person, Karsten Neil Poulsen from Silkeborg Denmark.
- He’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing. He may appear to be legit but he’s totally without scruples, says a former top-member of the pyramids to Aftenbladet.
Poulsen started his criminal ways early on. In 1997 he was sentenced to two years in prison for tax-fraud regarding imports of illegal videocassettes. The then 28 years old Poulsen, had connections with Hells Angels and received a harsher sentencing due to his threatening of several of the witnesses, Danish Ekstrabladet wrote in 16.2.97.
Into the pyramid scams
Following his time in prison, Karsten Poulsen starts the company Convita together with Richard Scharfenberg. This was a Danish multi-level-marketing-company (MLM) which was supposed to market timeshare-apartments in Spain. It collapsed after getting bad publicity in the papers.
The next project was Gii Corp in 2001. Gii Corp, or Global Investment International, was divided into a multitude of businesses. These included Gii Investments Inc, Gii Sales, Gii Real Estate, Gii Legal Services and Gii Technology in Panama, Gii Entertainment, GiiCorp Holding Ltd in Belize and a lot of national companies including Gii Real Estate (Spain), Gii Membership Benefits (Norway) amd Gii Corp (England).
Scharfenberg and Poulsen later got Michael Juul onboard with the project.
- Karsten Poulsen and the people around him, Richard Scharfenberg and Michael Juul, are people I never want to work with again, a highly profiled MLM-networker says who is well known within Gii Corp and who lost a lot of money on the project.
Lost six millions
The Danish man was at the top level of Gii Corp and lost, in total, six millions on the scam. A lot of this money he handed over in cash to Karsten Neil Poulsen.
- I’ve got enough money to get by. Had I got my money back I would’ve distributed them down the pyramid. A lot of people lost their homes over this.
The man wants to come forward with his name, and also supply the police with the information that he’s got, but he is afraid because of the threats he’s received from the circle around Poulsen.
- He promised $200 000 to whomever got me away from Gii Corp. People can do a lot of things for that kind of money. It’s gotten so bad I’ve got to install extra security in my house and around my family, the man explains.
The history of threats is confirmed by an independent source who’s been through the same thing.
- Poulsen threatened me with east-european mafia on several occasions, the source confirms.
“Stole” millions
Careful estimates calculates Karsten Neil Poulsens earnings in the Gii Corp scam to be between 30 to 60 millions.
- 60-100 millions is probably closer to the truth. A lot of people lost a lot of money on Gii Corp. I’m ashamed to have been involved in this, the investor claims.
Gii Corp made a lot of promises but never had an actual product to sell. It was all a fabric of lies to make people invest more money. The company had earlier sent out press releases boasting of large property investments in eastern Europe. It turned out to be a lie. The company also bought and sold stocks, but never had a license to do so. They claimed to have a license on the offshore island of Noie but could never provide documented proof of this.
- This is where they made a lot of money. Karsten Poulsen sold a lot of stock he knew wasn’t worth the paper it was printed on, the networker explains.
Went bad
In 2005 the recruitment for Gii Corp started to slow to a halt. At this moment in time, today’s owner of T6 Poker, insurance salesman Torben Hübertz Knudsen appeared in Gii Corp. A short time thereafter Knudsen disappears, together with several others, from the company. It wasn’t a long stay.
In the meantime Flemming Hebsgaard is hired as “Eurpean marketing director” to get the recruitment going again in the company.
Hebsgaard has got a history of being involved in shady businesses. In 1992 he started the company Bil Udlejning Discount in Denmark, and was on several occasions scrutinized by the media due to operating in the margins of the law. Later he was involved in the investment company Chr. d. IV together with John Salomon, who was sentenced in 2002 to four yeas in prison on 28 occasions of fraud, mistrust and illegal documentation. Danish paper Ekstrabladet described the company as “a stink bomb”.
Alston Price
After a short stop at the company RiskProfit, operated by Trond Hov from Svolvaer, Torben HĂĽbertz Knudsen concocted the idea of Alston Price.
The early signs of collapse were also visible in Gii Corp in 2006.
Therefore Knudsen contacted Karsten Neil Poulsen again. They agreed to form Alston Price. Together they devised a time consuming and shrewd scam to kill off Gii Corp and manipulate the members to transfer to Alston price.
These documents has been made available to Aftenbladet.no.
A new series of companies saw the light of day. Alston Price (Belize), Sports Arbitrage Inc, and Afterwards (New Zealand) was formed. It was already decided that AP Group was to be formed in 2006.
Fast name changes is a regular occurrence in MLM-schemes and makes it hard to follow up on. The structure also included Hunter (Karsten Poulsens private company), Gatesweeper (Richard Scharfenbergs company) and Honeypot Group.
Aftenbladet.no has got the financial reports which clearly show that a lot of the companies never had any business, they were empty shell companies.
The common denominator
AP Group was later transformed to 1 Oz Group. 1 Oz Group though, occupies the same offices as Alston Price did earlier. In reality, it was the same company. 1 Oz Group started up the internet site T6poker. In the late 2007 the company TSIXPOKER was born in Costa Rica. Aftenbladet has gotten hold of the company-data which shows that the company’s holdings sums up to 100 000 Costa Rica Colon, or roughly $200 worth of stock. They don’t have an office in Costa Rica. The lawyers office is marked as the companies address.
In Norway it is Frode Berg and Andre “Gomez” Nilsen who are fronting T6Poker, formerly known from WGI. Aftenbladet.no has written about this business before.
The common denominator. Torben HĂĽbert Knudsen owns the company, Karsten Poulsen is along for the ride and Richard Scharfenberg is marketing director.
Everyone that Aftenbladet.no has talked to describes Poulsen as the common denominator behnd the companies.
On T6Poker own site, Torben Hübertz Knudsen is described as a successful businessman. The truth is that Torben is listed as “bad credit” in the Danish registry RKI. Hence, he is not eligible for a loan or buy things using a credit. His merits simply derives to his time in insurance sales.
Knudsen has of late been a regular at the poker tables in Las Vegas. According to Knudsen he’s been hooked on gambling for several years.
He lived in Panama for a short while, then in Spain, but is now, allegedly, back in Denmark but there is no proof of an address there.
- I’m tired of seeing the same people responsible for sucking other people’s pockets dry, says a MLM-person in Denmark to Aftenbladet.no.
Just a consultant
When confronted by Aftenbladet.no, Karsten Neil Poulsen claims to have never been involved in Alston Price. He claims to just have been a consultant to T6poker and Gii Corp.
- I simply help them to get in contact with the right lawyers and to get the correct permissions, Poulsen says from Italy.
Torben HĂĽbertz Knudsen has not returned our calls.
T6poker claims, in the media, that their goal is to one of the leading poker sites in the course of one year, using the funds from private investors. Approximately 60 000 “shares” of investment opportunities has been sold, mostly in Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Finland.
What we now for a certain is that no one knows were the funds from Gii Corp and Alston Price is today.
Karsten Neil Poulsen, though, has got a company in Switzerland, Caesar Invest AG, with a total of 100 000 franc (rougly $100 000) in funds. This company was known as Gii Corp. SA until 2.11.2005. Poulsens lawyer, Peter SchĂĽpbach, is the guardian of the company.
At the time when the company was known as Gii Corp they were said to deal in the business of patents, licenses, market, development and administration of E-commerce and IT.
- The company has the same address but can not tell if they will continue the business from Gii Corp, a report states from Caesar Invest AG, dated 03.03.2005.
Notwithstanding the $100 000 it has been impossible to determine what there is of worth in the company.

Because I’ve been playing here for some time now and all looks fine, Also have succesfully cashed out multiple times and there is still not that much traffic but it doesn’t look scammy to me yet.
