Yesterday was an exciting day, third place finish in the PLO event – Tiffany Michelle visits with Tony about the fact that third place is never good enough for a poker player. How true, how true!

“Of course it was great to make the final table, and great to finally get deep, but you really want to get the bracelet so…it’s very disappointing when you go out but I recovered pretty well. I thought I might have been worse but I did all I could and I played my ‘A’ game for most of the tournament…”

Playing until 5 a.m. can be grueling and tiring but Tony said he felt you get so much energy and he was drinking the All-in Energy Drink as well. And he wasn’t tired at all. He jokes over the fact that the All-in Energy Drink is his new sponsor now.

Does Tony think that PLO is one of his best games? “Yeah…definitely. I play pretty good. I have a lot of experience playing the game for many years and I feel I’m very strong at it…”

Tony has plans to do more strategy on Omaha – here on the blog – he’s put some stuff out that was a bit of a joke but he’ll be doing some serious strategy thoughts soon and tell people how to play the game. It’s Tony’s favorite game so get ready for more.

Tony plays his day one of the main event tomorrow. He’s also playing at the ’50 Club’ where the big, high stakes. $1M poker game will be on later. He doesn’t know if he will make it or not but he’s in the field. He’s also talking about the games in Russia.
