So we are in about Day 19 now on the World Series of poker, we’re all getting a bit tired, but I finally made my cash. We’re going to walk in and see how the payouts work, let’s see if I can get in there.

Here we go. I’ve got my passport. Luckily I am from one of the exempt countries so I won’t have to pay tax on poker winnings, and this is where they’re going to process my $9,000 for the heads up which I played really bad… but at least I made the money. So then we are going to be rich. 9000 is going to cover my expenses for an extra day and keep me off the streets.

I played pretty bad yesterday, heads up, round 4, I had a girlfriend of a player to play against and I just got outclassed. I was in a hurry because I was in the Omaha and I had a nice stack in the Omaha Pot Limit. So the good thing is I had insurance, I went back to the Omaha after the heads-up. The Omaha Pot Limit which I absolutely love, I should have done much better but what did I do? I just blanked out. I made a few mistakes in the Omaha, played bad, built up again from a crippled stack; got up to 25,000 – which was the average with 50 players to go – picked up Aces on the button, a big raise before me, I reraised. I’m laughing …Aces…I can’t lose!

Let’s see…he’s got A-K-J-2. I’ve got A-A-6-8 and I’m in very good shape in Omaha Pot Limit. He shouldn’t call me but he did. He flops two pair, makes three pair on the turn, and nothing happens for me…and…

So…I was gone. I had to get on my bike, back to the Bellagio about 2 a.m.. So I busted out. But at least I didn’t have to come to day 2. So today, in spite of saying I’m not going to play any limit today, I’m playing Omaha hi/lo limit. And the donkey structure is still up there but I’ll try. I’ve got to keep playing.

Got the H-O-R-S-E coming up soon, 50K, the 10K Pot Limit Omaha that I’m looking forward to, and the Main Event, so there’s not long to go and I can just about see the finish line. So we’re here to have some fun now but join me again tomorrow…checking out.
