Playing $1,000/2,000 Online
I have been playing $1,000/2,000 with Patrick Antonius on my site, Tony G Poker. Its about 10pm here, 1 am ET. I’m still in Las Vegas, staying at the Wynn, and taking it easy. I am going to Europe, and play a few tournaments there, but other than that, I am going to relax.
I’ll be playing a lot on the site, so everyone can watch the big game. We’re going to get Johnny Lodden (Bad_IP) I hope on the site tomorrow, and I hope we can get the biggest game on the web going. I am going to try to get some really big players on there over the next few days. It’s going to be a lot of fun, and I am going to play in all the big games.
The $1,000/$2,000 is running, and I think we can get $200/$400 No Limit going. I spoke to Johnny Lodden today, who is one of the biggest players on the internet. He is at Bellagio now playing $100/$200 No Limit.
I give the best conditions on my site, and we are only taking a 50 cent rake on this heads up game. For the big players, I am going to help them out more, so they get the most value.
I hope people enjoy it, and I am going to post hand histories, and some hand replays, which we are working on now. I hope you all enjoy it.

Are you crushing Antonius in the game? I heard he’s running bad.

Hey Tony, I’ve been playing at your site every day for weeks now, and I think a few simple changes to the “Tournaments & Sit n Go” section would entice more people to play.
The current system for sit n gos requires at least three players to register before they will begin. Once that happens, a timer counts down from 5 minutes, and the game starts either when six players total have joined the table, or the 5 minutes have elapsed. This means that a lot of sit n gos will start with only three players, which makes for a thoroughly crappy game. I think a lot of folk don’t even bother registering because of this. I think if the time limit was removed and the game didn’t start until 9 players had registered, or if the time limit didn’t start until there were at least 6 players registered, it would become a more attractive proposition. I’m really missing playing good sit n gos at Tony G Poker, but I think that these changes would lead to more people playing! Cheers,
John.
