Hey Tony, I like the way you play and enjoy watching you on the televised broadcasts. I first saw you on WPT a couple of years ago and then last years WPT year when you took 2nd in Paris and made Sunar look like a fool on a couple hands, but I am writting you about the Monte Carlo broadcast. I thought it was funny when you were talking shit to the mouth and eventually busted him on the river, however when you went all in after the flop when you had top pair with the 9’s I thought it wasn’t a bad play not knowing that Can had wired kings but when he called it made you have to hit a 9 to win and stay in the tourny and when you hit that miracle 2 outer on the river you should have shown some class. Granted it took some heart to make that play there was no need to get up and run around the room telling pour Can that you bet like a set and he should have folded……give the guy a break he just took a horrible beat and your rubbing it in like a 1st grader…….YOU MADE THE WRONG CALL AND THE DECK HELPED YOU OUT!!!!!!!!!!! don’t act like it was the right play and rub it in…….bottom line your a great poker player with your agressive style and your ability to get players off their game by talking, I just think you should show more class sometimes…….just curious have you ever been in a fight at a poker tournament after one of your outbursts???? anyways good luck on your upcoming trip to the U.S. hope to see you at another final table soon………

Your comments are fair James, Can is a great guy & a very good poker player and just that moment i lost control. It was a fun event and I look forward to being back there very soon.

Hey James, get off Tony’s back. The reason people love watching tony play is he is unpredicatable, he has outbursts, he says things he shouldn’t, he gets under peoples skin. Another famous sports star did the same in the 70’s and 80’s… his name was John McEnroe. Like the “Mac”, these attributes make Tony’s game enjoyable and good TV. Good TV is what makes poker popular. So yeah Tony could take a chill pill, and relax, and not go crazy at the table, but guess what, then he would be like the the millions of other poker players out there who are a) boring, b)don’t have thier own websites for you to post at c) don’t make it to TV (so therefore you don’t know who they are, therefore not warrenting a website for you to post at). Getting sick of all these posers saying you should show more ettiqute and class. Tony should do what he does and people should leave him alone, because if he didn’t then he would no longer be the Tony we all enjoy watching. Tony doesn’t have to justify what he does to you or anyone else.

Good luck in the Bad Boys show tony, should make for entertaining viewing.

Brook yer a Phucking moron……I gave tony mad props……….I love when he talks shit to people, but that doesn’t justify him talking like that after putting a bad beat on someone……put yourself in Can’s shoes and you wouldn’t be saying the same thing…..anyways good luck Tony…….looking forward to a Mouth and Tony confrontation in the bad boys………give em hell……..and just for the record, I think your one of the best not just the most entertaining, but sometimes it can be a little much is some situations………….

  6. Brook Says:

James, i believe the way you talk says a lot about yourself. And i find it funny that you give tony backhanded praise. Whatever. I’m not going to start a flame war with you on tony’s site. I have better things to do with my time.

Hi Tony! I loved to watch you play in Paris, and I can’t wait to see the next WPT Bad Boys of Poker episode with you and The Mouth. I founded the first one a bit lame, no Bad Boys there (except for Gus perhaps). Do you know if I can find filmclips with you in action online? I don’t have the right tvchannels. Keep up the good work! We love to watch you in action here in Sweden!!!

Good luck on the WPT Bad Boys - My money is on you!!

Played in the 1000 euro freezeout in Deauville (EPT) on Saturday. Dont class myself good enough for a main event yet! Ended up 38th out of over 230 players so happy with my performance - and I got to play against Dave Colclough. AQ did me in again - called an all in. He had aces. Low raise from him 1st and I should have guessed! I re-raised and he moved all in delighted to have some action. I had reduced my stack to a low amount with the re-raise and had no option. Stupid play after 9 hours without putting a foot wrong - inexperience showed through there hey!. Going to try to get some mid price tournament play before I decide if I should try the main event in the EPT in BArcelona, September.

Good luck with all your upcoming tournaments and events Tony. Oh and the AQ was not suited!!! lol

    Hi Tony,

This isn’t a comment or an feedback. I just got into poker and really loving it. I was playing poker on line when this gent pops in the room named Tabakko. He asked me if I knew you and I started to laught to myself. I stated “no, should I?” and he stated “yes.” It’s amazing how people think they know who you are on line. Any hoot. He then replies telling me he is your nephew and that you as a pro as taught him many moves and strategies. I thought, hey kewl, but why is this gent telling me this? So here I am asking if this Tabakko nephew of your is real? Playing poker and taking my money is one thing but lying, well that just hurts. I would like to see if his bluff is for real. Your help would be very appreciative. Not into the pros or their life and what they do at card tables but GOOD LUCK on your poker mission.

    Cordially,
    Texas Saddlebritches
